Rocking chairs have become a timeless piece of furniture. Many can say that they remember times where their grandparents sat in the rocker and talking about the 'good old days.' Many people have wooden rockers donning their front porch. Others prefer have the chair inside, perhaps in the living room. No matter where you choose to use the rocking chairs, they are an enjoyable way to sit and just relax after a long day. The history of the furniture dates back to the 1700's, and it has been a staple in the lives of many people.It is believed that the first rockers ever invented were done so in England. The Windsor rocker is one of the first noted adult rocking chairs in history. They were named for the location for which they were made, the Windsor Castle.
